This Lego™, “DOTS Picture Holders” DIY Crafting set makes 3 animal cubes with lids or picture holder boxes that contains around 420 pieces, in ¼, ½, and full circles and square tiles in pastel colors. There are also special tile pieces unique for this Lego™ model to build boxes. There are 54 different variations of shapes and colors. Not every shape is included for every color. For example, there aren’t any full circles in purple, light blue, blue or some other colors.
This Lego™ 41904 was priced at US $14.99, EUR 14.99€, £12.99 and was released on August 21, 2020. Even though it is a retired product you can still find it on Amazon.com or other online resellers.
This set contains 3 different pastel colors of 5 small plates of each color, that are 4×4. If you want to create a larger plate, you either need to use plates from your existing sets or buy another set that includes some plates. This set is great for kids that want to use their imagination to create different shapes and animals. Although on the box it shows only a few designs,
kids can improve their self-expression skills as they decorate the cubes, following suggestions in the packaging to design the cat, dog, lama or other animal faces, or coming up with their own ideas.
Age Recommendation
Although it is stated on the box of Lego™ “DOTS Picture Holders” that the recommended age is 6+ to build the Lego™ 41904, with parental supervision and support younger children can also easily build it and play with it afterwards. Since removing these small bricks with a classic brick separator is difficult, Lego™ includes a new style tile remover tool in some DOTS sets. Unfortunately this set doesn’t contain any kind of Lego brick separator tool, which is unfortunate because you will need one. Also, in addition to building bricks and playing with the legos, after you finish building this Lego™ you can use its container as a jewelry or some other organizing box.
